Becoming an AAR or "Approved Auto Repair" shop by AAA is not easy. If a shop wants an AAA approval designation, then an AAA service specialist must inspect the shop for cleanliness, proper tools, adequate technical training of employees, and the appropriate technician certifications. "One thing everyone needs is an honest auto repair shop, and from my experience working with Steve at Liberti's, I have found mine for as long as I live in Milpitas. Auto repair and service is a huge hassle, and for most of us it usually comes down to "can I trust these guys?" My situation was a great example of "yes I do!". 1996 Acura Integra
I had a parasitic drain on my battery. Replaced the battery and had several different mechanics search for the problem. The problem continued. No one could find it. I know of Liberti's outstanding reputation, but hesitated because you get what you pay for. After a few months screwing around, I took it to "John" at Liberti's, and he found the problem the next day. It wasn't easy or readily apparent, but he found it relatively quickly, and fixed it immediately. With hindsight, I should have taken my car there immediately. Would have saved an extra $500. BTW, these mechanics are very respectful and patient. I truly appreciated being treated so kindly. Thanks, John!

2002 Land Cruiser
Had the opp to chat with Steve about air conditioning for my old school land cruiser. The guy is like an encyclopedia and willing to share knowledge. Takes the time to explain what's going on and different approaches, doesn't try to rush you off. Kudos!
